During the three-month program, Geneia will build on the companies’ joint solution, which combines the Theon® platform’s cost and quality analytic capabilities with the Salesforce Health Cloud workflow, member engagement and communication tools, by adding reporting and analytics to help employers reduce spend, improve employee health and derive more value from their health and well-being programs.
“For many years, employers have grappled with escalating healthcare costs and the productivity impact of employee health challenges,” said Susan Collins, vice president, general manager healthcare & life sciences at Salesforce. “We’re excited to align even more closely with Geneia to deliver a solution that helps employers address their top priorities of controlling health costs, improving health engagement, expanding the use of analytics and enhancing the employee experience.”
“Employers seeking greater control over employee health costs, quality and outcomes need the same robust, real-time analytics and reporting tools that payers and providers increasingly are using to succeed in value-based care relationships,” said Geneia CEO Mark A. Caron, FACHE, CHCIO. “That’s precisely the kind of employer solution we’ll bring to market through the expanded relationship of Geneia and Salesforce.”
The Geneia app for Health Cloud will expand and enhance existing capabilities for health plans, providers and employers. The Theon® solution for population health management and member engagement is now available on Health Cloud.
